Big brands: Nestlé

I hear a lot about hershey's! Hershey this, Hershey that, I have never seen Hershey anywhere!
To be honoust, I had not even heard about it before I started this blog!
I think my next ''big brand'' post will be about hershey, because I am curious...

What I DO know is Nestlé! And they don't just do chocolate...

They do EVERYTHING (Over here)... Lion, KitKat, Milky Bars...
Nestlé owns about 6000 brands, including very well known ones like Felix(cat food), Nestea, Nesquick (chocolate milk)... oh well. you get the point, they are big.

Why am I posting about Nestlé? I really wish to inform everybody, that even tho we all like chocolate, not everybody has the same brand available. That includes me! I want to taste Hershey's, and know if its different from chocolate over here!

What I do know, is that Lion tastes so very very sweet, that I just love this company. Actually, I love all chocolate-producing companies, as long as they are not too expensive.

Of course, there are others who dislike this company. Mainly because of some breastfeed-replacement. I really think all mothers should go all-natural, but that just my opinion

Chocolait Chips

Chocolait Chips from Nestle

Well I have been eating chocolate for quite some time, and one of the best chocolates I have EVER tasted, are these chips. Now, its not just the chocolate that drives my head wild, its the super-smart packaging container, what makes me want to have this time and time again!

Yes that are 21 twixes, and yes I need those!
Focus on the chips!

The packaging is epic! Just see the video above, its unlike anything you encounter in the supermarkets! It is a hexagon-shaped box, with the top and bottom slightly dented. If you pull the top or bottom (it is symetrical) you can get to the inside, where there is a gold-coulered bag. Open this bag and you will reach the chocolate chips!
What I always do, is to leave them in the bag, and put the bag back in the box, so you can enjoy them for several days. Note that mine don't last several days anymore.
Now please realise that not everybody likes these chocolait chips, everybody has their own personal taste. You either love these, or you hate them (later explained). What makes these so special is that they don't taste like regular chocolate. They are, I quote the packaging:

Crisped cereal chips coated with milk chocolate (50%), decorated with plain chocolate.

The taste
When you bite one, it crunches in your mouth. If, after this, you immediatly swallow, the chocolate will remain in your mouth, and if you don't like them, it means you have a bad taste in your mouth for quite some time. If you do like them, enjoy the aftertaste. It is epic...
With this prolonged aftertaste, you can get the maximum enjoyment out of these chips, and you don't have to eat much to enjoy them a lot.

On the other side, if they don't suit your tastes, you will have a bad, almost sour-like taste in your mouth for about three minutes. So don't start off with more then 1 chip, or you'll hate yourself for that!

Toblerone white, try or not?

Well hi everybody!

Recently I walked into a night shop (a shop open during the night), and I thought I walked into a dream!!! Does anybody know about white Toblerone bars? I didn't, but now I do!! But as you can see, in this picture the very popular Mentos, and regular Toblerone are sold, but it seems the black toblerone (pure chocolate) and the white toblerone (white chocolate) are still very stacked! Because of this I first believed that these are not as good as regular toblerones!

So I went down to Toblerone and Im trying to figure out if I should buy the white toblerones or not, because frankly, I don't want to waste money on a bad chocolate bar!
Ingredients
Swiss white chocolate with honey and almond nougat (10%)
Ingredients: Sugar, whole milk powder, cocoa butter, honey (3%), almonds (1.6%), emulsifier (soya lecithin), egg white, flavouring (vanillin)  

Well that does not help a lot...
So I continue to investigate:

1 star:		(0)

That sounds pretty nice, loads of four and five stars given out to this bar! Now this is peaking my curiosity! But ofcourse, having more then one source is always a must, if you research anything! so finally, I go to chocolatemission which gives this bar an 8.3 out of 10! 
Well this just makes my day! When I saw this in the store, I thought it would be a waste of my money to buy this, but now I think my very own review will be coming very soon!!!

Couldn't find anything with white chocolate... Forgive me?

Okay sorry for freaking you out with my previous post, but I just found out how to use the bidvertiser ads on my site =D

Well as some of you may have noticed, my advertisements are no longer here. If Google will not re-activate my Google-Adsense account, I will have to find a new publisher. If however, I am not able... I will not continue this blog...

All big inventions were invented unintentionally! The Twix Chocolate Platform!

*Update about my Twix Chocolate Platform*

Well as some of you may have read, I wanted to make a Twix Chocolate Platform (lets make it the shorter TCP for now)
The original TCP was a twix, that had been in my pocket/bag for too long, while I went to the beach, and some really hot places and the two twix bars fused into on epic Twix Chocolate Platform! While this is my first TCP, I had no idea how this (most epic tasting bar) came to be, and I wanted to make a video and share it with everybody! So you can make your very OWN TCPs!


There is however, one problem! I attempted my first recreation of the original TCP, and it failed... horribly...

I really did mess up a twix beyond eating pleasure! Dang! what a waste....
Now I will rethink my strategy, and try to come up with a better solution! I will recreate the TCP, which was one of the best chocolate bars I have had in my life, No matter the costs!

I took some pictures before ... sorry...

I mean while I was eating it! Now this result has GOT TO BE reachable! This bar tastes so good... you can't even imagine... I can... because I remember the TCP!

Mothers Day!

Yeaah! Its mothersday in chocoland!

This is one of my favorite times, where I buy all sorts of chocolate, and nobody even looks at me funny! =D
But enough of that, lets focus on this fantastic day! Its the second sunday of March and this means it IS mothersday! I hope you spoil your mother as much as I try to do!

Dragon Chocolate Cake

Well I came across this art blog, asking for ideas, and I asked him to draw the most EPIC chocolate cake he had ever seen! I did not think he would deliver....

Well he did! He made this chocolate dragon cake (with a tad of chili flavor) as the finishing touch!
Well you might just think like hmwa, its just a Dragon(Epic) Chocolate (tasty) on a Chocolate cake(need I even explain?) He ALSO wants to make this like a normal chocolate cake, and make the dragon with coloured frosting (I hope theres a cook up to that)! Just IMAGINE having this superlicious chocolate cake in your livingroom, just waiting to be eaten!

But this is not the only chocolate dragon cake I want to show you! heres another one! This one was not especially made for me but this one is (almost) Just as epic!

Well as you might have noticed I have been blogging a tad less, because the weather is so awesome here, im on the beach all day! =D
That does not mean I take a brake from eating chocolate!
I recently forgot a piece of chocolate that was in my pocket, (A twix no less) and it melted... TOGETHER!
So the two twix pieces became one huge caramell-chocolate-cookie-twix PLATFORM! You don't even know the ''Insane orgasm'' of tastes I had in my mouth!
I will post pictures later, then buy a few Twixes to see if I can get it to do the same again!
I tell you, if you know how to do that please comment it, because it tasted so sweetly, like having a brand new chocolate bar! I think my next post will be on that, but Im unpredictable, as always!

I have spoken to some people out of the Netherlands, but they all did not seem to know that the Netherlands actually have a Royal Family, a queen, a crown prince, married to a princess and they also have children (which are not yet direct inheritors of the throne. But thats not important today! Because today was Queens Day! Millions of people were out on the street celebrating the birthdate of the Queen on April the 30th.
Now Queen Beatrix van Oranje-Nassau used to be married to Prince Claus, but he passed away. Our Crown Prince is Prince Willem-Alexander van Oranje-Nassau

The ''Golden Carriage'', not made of real gold, because then it would be too heavy! (every dutch person learns this in school)
They had the money to buy one made of gold, but then the axis would not be able to handle the weight of the pure gold carriage.

Well this is NOT a holiday for chocolate, but just a very fun day to be in the Netherlands, and to taste a little ''orange'' culture!
Why orange you ask? Have you ever seen Dutch people in sports? Or at anything nationalistic for Holland?
If you said yes, you know they are all ORANGE! If you said no, Ive got some pictures for you!

Our Royal Family!

Their last name is ''van Oranje-Nassau'' (translates to ''from Orange-Nassau''). The Royal Family is so very dutch, that dutch people don't even notice it anymore, that there aren't a lot of europe countries with a royal family (France is very proud they killed every last one). On the other hand, you might notice that the United Kingdom's Royal Family recently had a wedding...
So I hope to educate the people of blogger, the people roaming the internets, that Holland DOES have a Royal Family, and their last name!

So maybe if you ever wanted to go to Holland, plan your trip for next year April 30st, and taste the REAL Dutch culture (and not that windmill stuff)
The next time you see a crowd of crazy orange people, you can almost certainly say: They are from Holland!

Easter!

OhMyGoozies! Chocolate!

Hey how is everybody doing? Today is Easter! there are many meanings behind easter, especially to christian people! Even tho I am not christian, I definiatly like easter!

Easter is the central feast in the Christian liturgical year. According to the Canonical gospels, Jesus rose from the dead on the third day after his crucifixion. His resurrection is celebrated on Easter Day or Easter Sunday (also Resurrection Day or Resurrection Sunday). The chronology of his death and resurrection is variously interpreted to be between AD 26 and 36.

Easter marks the end of Lent, a forty-day period of fasting, prayer, and penance. The last week of the Lent is called Holy Week, and it contains Good Friday, commemorating the crucifixion and death of Jesus. Easter is followed by fifty-day period called Eastertide or the Easter Season, ending with Pentecost Sunday.

But this is NOT the reason I like Easter so much, in fact, Im not even religious! What I DO love is the EASTER BUNNY!

The Easter Bunny or Easter Hare (sometimes Spring Bunny in the U.S.) is a character depicted as a rabbit bringing Easter eggs, who sometimes is depicted with clothes. This really is just another holiday so you have an excuse to eat chocolate once again!!

Ages for chocolate

Now usually a lot of people tend to think that something is only for certain ages,














Like watching Disney Movies is only for kids, riding in a shopping mall cart is only for very small kids, using the MCdonalds ballparks, doing anything that is meant for kids is not meant for grown-ups

but NOTHING can be less true, I dare you to watch the Lion King again, and youll cry! Riding in a shopping mall cart will get you on Jackass, using the MCdonalds ballparks will make kids think you are so cool!









But what about chocolate?

Well as the pictures may already show you,
Well chocolate is for ALL ages (except baby's), all genders, all humans, as you may say, because feeding chocolate to dogs is NOT a good idea. cats don't like chocolate either! (they will eat it, they will DIE).

So I hope when you get old you won't be thinking
 ''ill save this chocolate for my grandkids'',
 but instead you will think
''Yummi this chocolate taste so great, I hope my grandkids won't be on time to eat it''
