Religion

Well guys, Its time to talk about an important thing in the world, religion.
Now a lot of religions have something they worship (Buddha, Mohammed, God, Jesus and I could continue).
So what better way to honor your religion then to make chocolate of whoever you worship! So heres some pictures (in a short post, I don't have a lot of time) to go with that =)
they are ''Chocolate Jesus'', ''White chocolate Koran'' (You can't picture Mohammed), and a ''chocolate Buddha''
Enjoy your religion!

Oh and an atheïst picture aswell!

Choco-Happy?

So hi guys, I'm here to educate you today, on... well what else? Chocolate!
Ah, now everybody has once heard ''chocolate is addictive'' and ''when your down, eat chocolate''. Why would this be?
Research has shown that the effects of chocolate include stimulating the release of neurotransmitters such as endorphins, dopamine, and serotonin. Endorphins, for example, help to regulate a person’s mood. When a person eats chocolate, some believe that the increased production of endorphins can increase happiness, reduce stress, and reduce feelings of pain.

(big load of text for those who are interested)

One of the more unique neurotransmitters released by chocolate is phenylethylamine. This so called "chocolate amphetamine" causes changes in blood pressure and blood-sugar levels leading to feelings of excitement and alertness. It works like amphetamines to increase mood and decrease depression, but it does not result in the same tolerance or addiction. Phenylethylamine is also called the "love drug" because it causes your pulse rate to quicken, resulting in a similar feeling to when someone is in love.
Another interesting compound found in chocolate is the lipid anandamide. Anandamide is unique due to its resemblance to THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), a chemical found in marijuana. Both activate the same receptor which causes the production of dopamine, a neurotransmitter which leads to feelings of well being that people associate with a high. Anandamide, found naturally in the brain, breaks down very rapidly. Besides adding to the levels of anandamide, chocolate also contains two other chemicals which work to slow the breakdown of the anandamide, thus extending the feelings of well-being. Even though the anandamide in chocolate helps to create feelings of elation, the effect is not the same as the THC in marijuana. THC reacts with receptors more widely dispersed in the brain and is present in much larger amounts. It would take twenty-five pounds of chocolate to achieve a similar high to that of marijuana.
Theobromine is another chemical found in chocolate that can affect the nervous system. Besides having properties that can lead to mental and physical relaxation, it also acts as a stimulant similar to caffeine. It can increase alertness as well as cause headaches. There is much debate as to whether or not caffeine even exists in chocolate. Some scientists believe that it is the less potent theobromine which is solely responsible for the caffeine-like effects.

So who's gonna ''hit me up'' with a bar of chocolate? Let's get high and happy together =D

A little something about me =)

A little something about me:
I am not the guy on the right side of this page, because then the chocolate-cape would already be missing some pieces.
As some have already seen in my profile, I'm Dutch and proud of it!  Dutch people have invented the cocoa press, by C. J. Van Houten, where he made chocolate cheaper, and available for everybody! My hero! Maybe I'm related? Would be awesome!

My girlfriend <3!

Also, I got the question;
----------------------------------------------
prelude1221 said...
Haha, so cool! How did you get into chocolate so much! I'd love to know! masterswindle.blogspot.com
---------------------------------------------
Well the answer to this is: I have no clue, I just really like chocolate, and when I got into blogs, and wanted to make my own, the first thing popping into my mind was ''Chocolate!''

With this came along the idea of creating a blog dedicated to chocolate, for BOTH genders, because, a blog about chocolate, thats just not for men/thats infantile, but I want this to become just a nice to read blog for anybody who is even slightly interested in chocolate!

Not my girlfriend =(
------------------------------------>

So thats all for today, and please note, that after febuari 25th, I will be on vacation (I will make a special vacation post for then, leave your comments and ideas behind for me to read when I get back), and from 25th then for 10-11 days I will not be posting anything ='( I'm sorry guys ;)!

Meanwhile in Chocoland....

First things first, How do you guys like my new lay-out? I added the ''vote'' function for all my messages, so you could vote ''yummie'', ''I'm getting hungry'', ''this does not look tasty'' and ''WANT!! WANT!!!''. I changed some other minor things aswell, but I'm mainly concerned about this function, do you guys like it?

Now the second thing I would like to say is:
The poll ended! Now most people voted for ''I like chocolate'', and second came ''I like chocobabes''. This will mean I will post a little less chocobabes and a little more chocolate. If you don't like the outcome, please comment for ideas for the next poll! I will see when I will make the new poll!

For today I will show you my ultimate dream!
The Guinness World Record for making the biggest chocolate bar in the world has been broken in Armenia.
The plain chocolate bar, made by the Grand Candy Company, weighed 4410 kilogrammes (9702 lbs).
<--------------------

Now 4400 kilograms may not seem like a lot,
but this ''little boy'' also weighs 4400 kilograms
Yup, thats the atomic bomb thrown at Hiroshima!
If only the Americans threw the chocolatebar, I think that would be a lot better for international relations!

Movie night!

So, Here I've been browsing my followers, and other blogs, and i've seen a lot of movie blogs =)
So I'll try this for once, because there is one movie, that you should see, or at least know the story of.
its a classic, Its a masterpiece, Its FILLED WITH CHOCOLATE,
Ofcouse, its Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!!!

So basically its about this young guy, who buys this wonka bar. This bar is from the great Willy Wonka factory, And he would give a number of kids acces to his chocolate factory, If you find the golden ticket in a Wonka bar. Now there are a number of winners, including a really fat chocoaddict (I'm not really fat but I could see myself here), And a very spoiled rich girl, and Charlie... Charlie wins by chance....
This is the moneyshot!!
I wanna be in this factory, Its my dream! I would build it just to be in it! =D No need to explain why I love this film/story, If you don't like the 2005 version, I first read it in a book, and the story itself is well told.
I hope you will watch this movie I have to tell you that I liked it... But then again... I did not pay attention to the acting or actors.... (RIVER OF CHOCOLATE!)

Here is something completely new, You have
probably never even thought of this

add a banana, then you won't taste any banana)
Now these are some pictures to get your apetite up again!
I tell you, this is the place you wanna be!
---------->
If you ever come across a chocolate fondue, ask if they have a banana with it, If you walk past the store on the right, go and walk in!

Chocobabes!

Oh did I say chocobabes? I meant chocobabies!
This has come to me recently; I have been pondering, and I would like your opinion
Would you feed your newborn chocolate? Its not particularly healthy, but when you google baby chocolate research it would seem its good to prevent diarrhea...
Now I've promised myself to have no mention of excrement on this blog but I think this is allowed :)

Heres some professional tips for your newborn!
Chocolate allergy is actually quite rare, though it can still occur. It is not in the big 8 list of food allergies, though ingredients commonly found in chocolate are in this list and make chocolate a food to exercise caution with when it comes to your infant.
Answer: It's often recommended that you do not give your baby chocolate until after they are a year old and sometimes this comes with a warning about children frequently being allergic to it. In reality, however, there is not much evidence to support this. This advice is likely a carry-over from years past when allergic reactions were attributed to chocolate, but were really a result of allergy to other ingredients (like soy, peanuts, tree nuts and dairy) that chocolate frequently contains. Food labeling requirements were not strictly enforced until 2004-2006 so many parents and health care providers assumed chocolate was the culprit. Education about cross-contamination has also exonerated chocolate from its status as a highly allergenic offender.
To be on the safe side, you can wait until your child is a year old (especially if you have a family history of allergies) but if you choose to introduce it earlier, choose types that don't contain other potential allergens. The darker chocolate varieties contain less of these ingredients, especially dairy.
Whether or not you have a history, the first time you introduce chocolate, be sure to watch for the signs of an allergic reaction (hives, difficulty breathing or asthma symptoms, swelling of the mouth or throat, vomiting or diarrhea and loss of consciousness), know how to respond and be ready to call 9-1-1 immediately.

I hope this will help you with your children, Whenever you have them, that they will not die of the most delicious food on earth! :)

Chess!

So any of you ever played chess? Some did, some did not.
Now I've recently been more into chess, and the reason for this is viewable in the pictures!

YES! YOU HAVE GUESSED IT RIGHT!
It's CHOCOCHESS!

Now the rules in this game are the same as normal, the only difference is that when a piece is taken, the person taking it can eat it!

Ofcourse when a pawn gets across and is switched by a queen or anything, they will not be switched with (eaten) chocochesspieces, but with normal pieces. You shouldn't eat these! Then the game continues as normal, except when the normal piece is taken, you eat the pawn which crossed the board.

And if your really hungry, You can even
eat the entire chocochessboard!
And when a person gets checkmate...
WINNER TAKES ALL!!

Maybe this will peak your interests in chess, it certainly does for me!

Valentines Day!

Did you receive anything this valentine? use the previous post and this one to know what they meant!

Now most of you did not receive many roses, so here are the first few meanings, later in this post, you will see the meaning of more then 2 roses!

A Single Red Rose
"I love you"
A Single Rose Any Color
Two Roses Entwined
”Marry me”
A Thornless Rose
''Love at first sight''
A Rosebud In Any Color
Symbolizes youth and beauty

What did all these roses mean? What is he/she trying to tell me?
On a first date, a single rose symbolises love at first sight. it can also be given in years to come to say, "I still love you."

Give someone two roses to represent your mutual love and affection.

Representing the couple and their shared love, a bouquet of three roses is
traditional one month anniversary gift.

Whether it's a school crush or a more mature passion, six roses symbolizes infatuation.

To send the message “We’ll be together forever,” send a bouquet of nine roses.

Let them know that their love is perfection with a bouquet of ten roses.

A perfect dozen shouts "Be mine!"

Tell someone that they'll be your friend forever with a bouquet of thirteen roses.

Need to let someone know that you're sorry? Send them fifteen roses.

Send the message "my feelings for you are truly sincere" with a bouquet of twenty roses.

Twenty-one roses say, "I'm dedicated to you/"

Two dozen roses shouts "I'm yours!"

Send a message of congratulations with twenty-five roses.

Three dozen says "I'm head over heels in love!"

Forty roses says, "my love for you is genuine."

To express a love that knows no bounds, send a bouquet that's equally as limitless - filled with fifty (or more) beautiful luxurious roses.
(I have also seen the bouquet of 999 roses symbolize this, but I personally think 50 will send the message loud and clear! Roses are rare and a luxury on valentine's day so don't buy too much, and leave some for the poor folks!

I'm sorry this post is not very long, But I'm currently very busy :(
I will add all of my new followers to my morning coffee :D and I will check and comment all of your blogs (if i can find a link)

I hope you have had a pleasant valentines day!

Valentines Day coming up!

Hey people,
I hope you have noticed, tomorrow is valentines day. If you have not yet bought anything, its a good idea to already start selecting
First one: Chocolate ;)
Chocolate is an important gift to give, because if they don't like it, you can always eat it yourself :). If they do like the chocolate its no big deal, because your relationship will grow stronger! Its a win-win to buy chocolate for your lover!
Ofcourse the meaning of chocolate is entirely upon how it looks; there are no set of rules for this, and a chocolate piece saying love speaks for itself, as will a heart shaped box ( (: Nirvana), or sending a teddy bear along with any chocolate

Red Roses
Red roses proclaim "I love you." They are the ultimate symbol of romantic love and enduring passion. Florists can't keep up with Valentines Day demand for red roses, which makes them especially expensive in February.
Yellow Roses
Yellow roses indicate friendship and freedom -- so don't send them if your intentions are romantic and long-lasting. Yellow roses are also appropriate for sending congratulations to newlyweds, graduates, Texans, and new mothers.
Pale Pink Roses
Pale pink roses connote grace, gentleness, and gratitude.

Light Pink Roses
A joy to behold, light pink roses express fun and happiness.
Deep Pink Roses
Deep pink roses say "Thank you." They have also come to be associated with the fight against breast cancer.
Lilac Roses
Lilac roses indicate the sender has fallen in love at first sight with the recipient and is enchanted.
White Roses
Pure white roses symbolize truth and innocence. They also send other messages: "I miss you" and "You're heavenly."
Peach Roses
Peach roses speak of appreciation and gratitude.
Coral Roses
Coral roses express one thing with their passionate color: Desire.
Orange Roses
Orange roses communicate enthusiasm and desire on the part of the sender.
Dead Roses
Regardless of the original color, dead roses say "It's over" loud and clear.

(source:  http://honeymoons.about.com/cs/valentinesday/a/Valentine_Roses.htm)

And whatever you send, Do not send black roses to non-goths!
Many say black represents death and can thus be used as a symbol to express vengeance towards a foe. But others interpret that more liberally, suggesting as a meaning for black roses the death of old habits, thus signalling rebirth. Unless you're a "Goth" or are trying to be funny, I'd stay away from sending black roses: the interpretation is too iffy. But the formula listed above will work for the other colors. Just follow the formula that matches the colors with the corresponding meanings, and you can't go wrong as a gift-giver.
